In the ancient Celtic tradition, women celebrated the first signs of springtime at Imbolc - the day halfway between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox.
On this day, Brigid, Goddess of the Sun, travels around the frozen world bringing back warmth and light.ย
Christians celebrate this day as St. Brigidโs feast, in honor of the saint who kept Brigid's flame alive within Christianity.

...and neither will humanity's long "winter" of exiling the Sacred Feminine from our awareness.
Brigid, as both Goddess and Saint, invites us to renew our hope and revive the flame of the Sacred Feminine in our hearts - even and especially in a patriarchal church and society!
