In the ancient Celtic tradition, women celebrated the first signs of springtime at Imbolc - the day halfway between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox.
On this day, Brigid, Goddess of the Sun, travels around the frozen world bringing back warmth and light.
Christians celebrate this day as St. Brigid’s feast, in honor of the saint who kept Brigid's flame alive within Christianity.

At Imbolc (February 1), we realize winter doesn't last forever...
...and neither will humanity's long "winter" of exiling the Sacred Feminine from our awareness.
Brigid, as both Goddess and Saint, invites us to renew our hope and revive the flame of the Sacred Feminine in our hearts - even and especially in a patriarchal church and society!
On the threshold of winter and spring, we welcome Brigid, Goddess of the Threshold, into our hearts and homes.
This retreat will help you:

About Your Facilitator
Kathleen Joan is a priestess of Brigid committed to the resurrection of the Divine Feminine in today's world - especially among those with Christian ancestry.
Formed as a spiritual seeker and leader in the Catholic Christian tradition, she holds a dual Master’s degree in theology and ministry and has over 15 years’ ministry experience, specializing in retreats, teaching, and small group facilitation.
Kathleen guides women from Christian backgrounds to reclaim the sacredness of the wild Feminine within them and take their place in the Divine Mother’s return today.
Through healing sessions, women’s circles, retreats, and Goddess courses, she helps women welcome in a new paradigm of balance between the feminine & masculine - one that begins in our hearts, and flows out into the healing of our communities and our world.
